An 18 oz merino wool blend jacket that is light and breathable with a soft, cotton-like feel.  Zipper front with two large slash pockets and two front button close chest pockets. Button cuff closures.  Double layer of fabric around chest and shoulders for added protection.  80% Merino 20% Nylon.  Dry clean only.

Excellent mid-weight jacket

Got this as a fall and spring jacket. A few years ago I got the Big Bill reversible 24 oz wool jacket but wasn't a fan. Fleece just makes me sweat so the fact that this jacket doesn't have a fleece lining was a selling point, and being unlined and generously sized makes it great for layering. Good freedom of movement, ok pocket sizes, the lower pockets are at a comfortable height. So far I've worn it in windy cold with an insulated canvas vest overtop and in cold winter rain underneath a roomy raincoat. Pretty happy with the material, much more comfortable than the 24oz 75% wool and doesn't seem to shed as many fibres when wet.
