We are well into July now and have finally begun making hay. A wet June has given way to a sunny July here in Northwestern Ontario and we are making the most of it. On Saturday, July 23rd we hosted the Cloverbelt Farmer's Market and had hundreds of people come out to enjoy the fresh, local produce, baked goods, and meat while also having a leisurely walk around our farm. We look forward to having them here again on August 20th. You can read more about them, and see dates and locations for future markets, here. We also welcomed some new additions to our Animal Park, two baby alpacas (cria) were born in the end of May, and we also took in a duck and a goose to watch over one of our ponds. All our newcomers are adjusting well to life on the farm. New items are available on our website too, for any new arrivals you have, check out the Merino Sleep Gown, perfect for small children to sleep in, without getting tangled in a blanket or sheet. To keep the bright summer sun out of your eyes, check out the Safari or Gambler woolfelt hats, both feature a wide brim and are made in Canada. Our Animal Park is still open for a few more weeks, so don't forget to stop by if you are in the area, we'd love to see you here!
